I loath the sight of PEGBOARD!

I am a Pintrest fanatic I can not stay away! I love to hear insight on products save cool ideas. I just love everything about Pintrest. Well almost everything. If you type Organization for the home, kitchen, garage, almost any room in the house. Pegboard will pop up as an option! What? It is never ever an attractable option. I think of musty old man garages, stinky basements, damp organization. I think of well everything aweful. I will admit my husband has the garage 100% to himself and yes pegboard is tacked up everywhere. 

I did find a few worthwhile uses lately but, I just can not bring myself to put it anywhere in or near my home. What are your thoughts on this organizational material?
